from the pages
fell a leaf;
from the pages fell a leaf

cold fries
carbonated water, raspberry;
for and against stopping

fish-colored lake
under fish-colored sky.
fish-colored sun above.

it was suggested by the fed,
chaste and hastened:
it was out before committee

look at you;
cuffing Armageddons,
dealing with your eyes

everything will be fine
said the sky
said all the signs -
